Mental Health and Wellness
Life is full of instances of great happiness and great sorrow. It is filled with many moments, some that we maintain control over and some that are completely out of our hands. This constant roller coaster of emotions can cause stress, anxiety, confusion, and fear. We all cope with situations in very different ways and counseling is a great way for us to come to terms with our personal experience in life. Counseling can help us to broaden our perception and see situations outside of the metaphorical box. It can also help us deal with traumatic situations in our lives such as an accident, a death of a loved one, or a bad breakup or constant pressures such as self image, mental illness, or financial issues.
This guide provides online counseling resources. It does not replace personal counseling but is intended to provide insight to common issues that students deal with.
