Radiology is the practice of using x rays ,a form of digital imaging, to capture images of the internal body.  It is used by sending x rays via an x ray machine through the body to capture these images. This is a medical practice that requires training, for it is necessary to study how much radiation as well as the proper body positioning to capture the images properly.  Certifications as well as education are required to become a radiologist.
